This Cookie Policy explains how vps4n8n (“vps4n8n,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on vps4n8n.com and the Client Area at panel.vps4n8n.com (collectively, the “Websites”).
This Cookie Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.
1. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. We may also use similar technologies, including local storage, session storage, tags, and pixels. In this Policy, we refer to these technologies collectively as “cookies.”
Cookies may be:
- First-party cookies — set by the vps4n8n website or Client Area you are visiting.
- Third-party cookies — set by an external service provider, such as an analytics or payment provider.
- Session cookies — deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies — retained on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies to operate the Websites and Client Area, maintain secure sessions, remember user choices, attribute affiliate referrals, process payments, and understand aggregate website usage.
Strictly necessary cookies may be used without optional consent because they are required to provide a feature or service you request. Analytics cookies are stored only after you grant analytics consent. When analytics consent is denied, Google tags may still load and send cookieless consent and measurement signals under Advanced Consent Mode, as described in Section 6.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for core website and Client Area functionality, including secure sessions, account access, cart operation, billing, support tickets, and recording your cookie preference. Blocking these cookies may prevent parts of the Websites from working correctly.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
WHMCSInstanceIDInstance-specific name |
Maintains the Client Area session and allows session information to pass securely between page loads. | vps4n8n Client Area (WHMCS) | Browser session |
vps4n8n_cookie_consent |
Stores your cookie-consent selection so that the banner does not ask for the same choice on every visit. | vps4n8n | 12 months |
4. Functional and Preference Cookies
These cookies remember choices that you make, such as whether you selected “Remember Me,” and may remember language, currency, cart, or interface preferences where those features are available. They are not required for basic browsing, but they improve convenience.
| Cookie or Technology | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
WHMCSUser |
Remembers a Client Area user when the user chooses the relevant login option. | vps4n8n Client Area (WHMCS) | Up to 365 days or until logout |
| Language, currency, cart, or interface preference identifiers | Remembers optional display and interface choices where enabled. | vps4n8n Client Area | Session or persistent, depending on the selected feature |
5. Affiliate and Referral Attribution
vps4n8n operates an affiliate program. When you visit through an authorised affiliate link, the Client Area may store an affiliate identifier so that an eligible purchase can be attributed to the referring affiliate. This cookie does not provide the affiliate with access to your Client Area credentials, billing details, or account contents.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
WHMCSAffiliateID |
Records that a visitor arrived through an affiliate referral and enables eligible order attribution. | vps4n8n Client Area (WHMCS) | 90 days by default |
Affiliate attribution is treated as non-essential where consent is legally required. Additional link-attribution technology may be used only if the corresponding Client Area tracking feature is enabled.
6. Analytics Cookies and Advanced Consent Mode
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) cookies to understand aggregate usage of the Websites, including page visits, traffic sources, approximate geographic region, browser and device characteristics, and interactions with website content. We use this information to evaluate performance, identify technical problems, and improve our services.
We deploy GA4 through Google Tag Manager and use Google Consent Mode v2 in its advanced implementation. For visitors who have not granted analytics consent, Google tags load with analytics_storage set to denied.
When analytics_storage is denied, GA4 does not set, access, or read Analytics cookies. Google may nevertheless receive cookieless consent and measurement signals. As part of normal browser and HTTP communication, these signals may include the consent state and limited technical information such as the user agent, screen resolution, and IP address. Google states that Google Analytics does not store or log IP addresses and describes cookieless Analytics events as anonymized and non-identifiable. Google may use these signals for aggregate measurement and modelling.
When you grant analytics consent, GA4 may set the cookies listed below and send measurement data in accordance with our configuration.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Default Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Distinguishes users for statistical measurement. | Google Analytics | 2 years |
_ga_8QLWZHYTN6 |
Persists session state for the relevant GA4 property. | Google Analytics | 2 years |
Browser restrictions, user settings, consent choices, and our configuration may shorten these durations. Google may process analytics information in the United States and other countries where it operates, subject to its applicable data-protection terms and transfer mechanisms. For more information, see Google’s Consent Mode overview, Google’s Consent Mode reference, Google’s Privacy Policy, and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
7. Advertising and Cross-Site Tracking
We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural advertising pixels, or cross-site remarketing technologies on the Websites. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
If we introduce advertising or remarketing technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and the cookie-consent controls before activating them where prior consent is required.
8. Payment-Provider Technologies
vps4n8n accepts cryptocurrency payments and card payments through external payment processors. During checkout, the selected payment provider may set cookies or use similar technologies on its own website, hosted checkout page, embedded payment component, or fraud-prevention systems.
These technologies may be necessary to authenticate a payment session, prevent fraud, apply security controls, remember a checkout state, and complete a transaction. Third-party payment technologies are governed by the selected provider’s own privacy and cookie notices. The exact cookies and retention periods may vary according to the provider, payment method, location, browser, and security checks involved.
9. Your Cookie Choices
Cookie Banner
Our cookie banner allows you to:
- Accept all — keeps strictly necessary cookies active and grants analytics consent, allowing GA4 cookies and full analytics measurement.
- Reject non-essential — keeps strictly necessary cookies active and denies analytics storage. GA4 cookies are not set, accessed, or read, although cookieless signals may still be sent as described in Section 6.
- Cookie settings — lets you enable or disable the Analytics category.
You may change or withdraw your choice at any time by visiting vps4n8n.com and selecting Cookie settings in the footer. When Analytics is disabled, we instruct Google tags to deny analytics storage and attempt to remove Google Analytics cookies accessible from our domain. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before your preference was changed.
Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to view, delete, or block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, cart, billing, payment, or support features from working correctly.
- Google Chrome cookie controls
- Mozilla Firefox cookie controls
- Apple Safari cookie controls
- Microsoft Edge cookie controls
10. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal. Because there is no universally accepted technical standard for interpreting DNT signals, the Websites do not currently respond to DNT alone. We respect the cookie preference selected through our consent controls.
11. Global Privacy Control
Where required by applicable law, we recognise supported Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals as an opt-out request for the sale or sharing of personal information. Because vps4n8n does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, no additional advertising opt-out is presently required.
12. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology, service providers, legal obligations, or cookie practices change. The “Last updated” date at the beginning of this Policy identifies the latest revision.
