This Privacy Policy explains how vps4n8n (“vps4n8n,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal data in connection with vps4n8n.com, the Client Area at panel.vps4n8n.com, and the VPS hosting, provisioning, billing, support, and related services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy is intended to address applicable data-protection requirements, including Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326 and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.
1. Scope and Data-Protection Roles
For account, billing, support, website, security, and service-administration data, vps4n8n generally determines why and how the data is processed and therefore acts as the data controller or equivalent responsible party under applicable law.
Customers independently determine what information they place in their n8n workflows, credentials, databases, webhooks, files, execution records, connected applications, and other resources hosted within their VPS (“Customer Content”). For personal data contained in Customer Content, the customer generally acts as the controller or business, and vps4n8n may act as a processor or service provider to the extent that we process such data on the customer’s behalf to provide the Services.
Questions about privacy or data-protection roles may be sent to admin@vps4n8n.com.
2. Personal Data We Collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account and identity data: name, username, account identifiers, company or organization information, and authentication-related information.
- Contact data: email address, telephone number, billing contact information, and communications preferences.
- Billing and transaction data: billing address, invoices, payment status, transaction references, selected plan, currency, and related accounting records. External payment providers may collect additional payment information directly.
- Service and provisioning data: purchased services, VPS identifiers, assigned hostnames, service status, deployment events, resource allocation, operating configuration, and service-management history.
- Support and communications data: support tickets, emails, requests, feedback, troubleshooting information, and other communications with us.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device information, operating system, timestamps, login activity, session information, error logs, security events, abuse reports, and network or infrastructure diagnostic information.
- Website and analytics data: page visits, traffic source, approximate geographic region, device characteristics, and interactions with website content, subject to the cookie and consent settings described below.
- Affiliate and referral data: referral identifiers and attribution information used to administer the vps4n8n affiliate program.
- Consent and preference data: cookie-consent selections, interface preferences, language or currency choices, and marketing preferences.
- Customer Content: data processed within a customer’s VPS, workflows, databases, connected services, credentials, files, or execution history, to the extent that such data becomes accessible to us during authorized support, security, recovery, abuse-prevention, or legal-compliance activities.
We do not require customers to submit special-category or highly sensitive personal data as part of ordinary account registration. Customers should not place such data in the Services unless it is necessary, lawful, appropriately protected, and permitted by the Terms of Service.
3. How We Collect Personal Data
We may collect personal data:
- Directly from you when you register, order a service, submit a ticket, contact us, update your account, or make a payment.
- Automatically when you use the Websites, Client Area, or Services, including through server logs, security systems, cookies, tags, and similar technologies.
- From payment processors, infrastructure providers, fraud-prevention services, affiliates, resellers, or other service providers involved in the transaction or service-delivery process.
- From publicly available sources or competent authorities where necessary for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
We process personal data only for defined purposes and, where applicable, under an appropriate legal basis.
- Providing and administering the Services: creating accounts, processing orders, provisioning VPS services, delivering credentials, managing subscriptions, providing support, maintaining service continuity, and enforcing the Terms of Service. Where the GDPR applies, this processing is generally necessary to perform a contract or take steps requested before entering into a contract.
- Billing, accounting, and legal compliance: issuing invoices, recording transactions, complying with tax, accounting, sanctions, anti-fraud, law-enforcement, and other legal obligations.
- Security and legitimate operational interests: authenticating users, preventing fraud and abuse, protecting systems and customers, investigating incidents, improving reliability, managing capacity, diagnosing errors, and defending legal claims. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests when those interests are not overridden by the rights and freedoms of the individual.
- Analytics and optional technologies: measuring aggregate website usage and improving the Websites. Where required, this processing is based on consent.
- Marketing communications: sending optional product news, offers, or feature updates where permitted by law and, where required, based on consent. Essential service, billing, security, and account notices are not marketing communications.
- Affiliate administration: recording referrals, validating eligible transactions, calculating commissions, and preventing referral abuse.
5. Customer Content and n8n Workflows
Customers control the applications, APIs, credentials, datasets, webhooks, workflows, and other information they connect to or process through their n8n environment. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their collection and use of personal data through the Services is lawful, transparent, appropriately secured, and supported by any required notices, agreements, or consents.
vps4n8n does not use Customer Content for behavioural advertising. We access or process Customer Content only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide requested support, maintain or restore the Services, protect infrastructure, investigate abuse or security incidents, comply with law, or carry out another purpose authorized by the customer or the Terms of Service.
Customers should avoid placing unnecessary personal data in workflow logs, execution histories, support tickets, filenames, or other locations where it is not required for the intended automation.
6. Cookies, Google Analytics, and Consent Mode
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Websites and Client Area, maintain secure sessions, remember privacy choices, and provide requested functionality. With consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) to understand aggregate website usage and improve the Services.
GA4 is deployed through Google Tag Manager using Google Consent Mode v2 in its advanced implementation. When analytics consent is denied, analytics_storage remains set to denied, and GA4 does not set, access, or read Analytics cookies. Google tags may still send cookieless consent and measurement signals, which may include limited technical information transmitted through normal browser and HTTP communications.
Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain disabled because we do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural advertising pixels, or cross-site remarketing technologies on the Websites.
For detailed information about cookie names, purposes, durations, consent controls, and how to change your selection, see our Cookie Policy.
7. Payments
Payments are processed through external payment providers that support card payments, cryptocurrency payments, or other available methods. Those providers may independently collect and process information needed to authenticate the transaction, prevent fraud, satisfy regulatory obligations, and complete the payment.
The selected payment provider’s handling of payment information is governed by its own terms and privacy notices. We may receive transaction references, payment status, currency, amount, billing information, and other metadata necessary to administer the order, without necessarily receiving every payment detail collected by the provider.
8. How We Share Personal Data
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose personal data only as reasonably necessary to the following categories of recipients:
- Data centers, hosting, networking, infrastructure, backup, monitoring, and security providers.
- Client-area, billing, account-management, email-delivery, and support-service providers.
- Payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, and financial or accounting service providers.
- Analytics providers, subject to applicable consent settings.
- Affiliates or referral partners, but only to the extent necessary to administer attribution and commissions and without providing access to account credentials, payment details, or Customer Content.
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, accountants, and legal representatives where reasonably necessary.
- Competent courts, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, tax authorities, or other public bodies when disclosure is required or permitted by law.
- A successor or prospective successor in connection with a merger, restructuring, financing, acquisition, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection measures.
Service providers are permitted to process personal data only for the services they provide to us or as otherwise authorized by applicable law, and are subject to contractual, confidentiality, and data-protection obligations where applicable.
9. International Data Transfers
vps4n8n serves customers and uses infrastructure and service providers that may operate in multiple countries. Personal data may therefore be processed outside Argentina or outside the country in which the individual is located.
Where applicable law restricts international transfers, we use legally permitted transfer mechanisms and safeguards, which may include adequacy decisions, contractual protections, standard contractual clauses, or other measures recognized by the relevant authority. The protections available may vary depending on the destination, provider, type of data, and applicable law.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, accounting, and enforcement of agreements.
Retention periods vary by category:
- Account and service data: generally retained for the duration of the customer relationship and for a limited period afterward for support, security, dispute, and record-keeping purposes.
- Billing and transaction records: retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, anti-fraud, and legal obligations.
- Support communications: retained as reasonably necessary to provide support, document resolutions, manage disputes, improve service quality, and protect against abuse.
- Security and technical logs: retained for a limited operational period based on security, diagnostic, and infrastructure requirements.
- Cookie-consent preference: normally retained for 12 months.
- Analytics data: retained according to our GA4 configuration and applicable consent settings.
- Customer Content: generally retained while the related service remains active. Deleted or terminated data may remain temporarily in backups, snapshots, logs, or disaster-recovery systems until normal rotation, expiration, or secure deletion occurs.
We may retain specific information for longer when required by law, a court order, a regulatory request, an unresolved dispute, a security investigation, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
11. Data Security
We use technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, misuse, or destruction. Depending on the data and context, these measures may include encrypted communications, access controls, authentication, logging, network protections, monitoring, backups, software updates, and restrictions on administrative access.
Customers are responsible for securing their account credentials, n8n credentials, API keys, workflows, connected applications, and any additional users they authorize. Customers should use strong unique passwords, protect access links, apply least-privilege principles, and promptly report suspected compromise.
No internet transmission, hosting platform, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Where required by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps in response to a personal-data breach, including notification to affected individuals or competent authorities when legally required.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction, rectification, or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion or suppression of personal data, subject to legal, contractual, security, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing.
- Request portability of eligible personal data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
- Opt out of optional marketing communications.
- Submit a complaint to a competent data-protection authority.
These rights are not absolute and may depend on the applicable law, the type of data, the processing purpose, and the legal basis involved. We may request information necessary to verify identity and protect the account before responding.
Requests may be submitted to admin@vps4n8n.com. Account holders may also update certain information directly through the Client Area.
Individuals in Argentina may contact or submit a complaint to the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (“AAIP”), the enforcement authority for Law No. 25,326. Individuals located in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with a supervisory authority may also complain to the authority responsible for their place of residence, work, or the alleged infringement.
13. Marketing Communications
We may send optional promotional communications where permitted by law. You may unsubscribe using the mechanism included in the communication or by contacting us.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending essential operational communications, such as account verification, provisioning notices, service incidents, billing reminders, security alerts, support responses, or changes affecting an active service.
14. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for individuals and organizations capable of entering into binding service agreements and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through ordinary account registration. If you believe that a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorization, contact admin@vps4n8n.com.
15. Automated Processing
We do not currently use personal data to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects for customers. Automated provisioning, monitoring, abuse detection, and security controls may be used to operate and protect the Services but are subject to human review where appropriate.
External payment processors or fraud-prevention providers may use automated checks under their own policies and legal obligations.
16. Third-Party Services and Integrations
Customers may connect their n8n environment to third-party applications, APIs, artificial-intelligence services, databases, messaging systems, or other integrations. Those third parties process data under their own terms, privacy notices, security practices, and retention rules.
vps4n8n is not responsible for the privacy practices of a third-party service selected, configured, or connected by the customer. Customers should review the relevant provider’s documentation and avoid granting broader permissions than necessary.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our Services, legal obligations, infrastructure, providers, or data-processing practices change. The “Last updated” date at the beginning of this Policy identifies the latest revision.
Where a change materially affects how personal data is processed, we may provide additional notice through the Websites, Client Area, email, or another appropriate channel.
